Job Details
| Reporting to the Refigeration Project Manager, this role will involve you in managing a team of engineering technicians and liaising with a team of functional specialists to develop and produce refrigeration products for use on the clients MRI systems.
Key tasks are:-
Ensure that agreed project milestones are set within the overall project time frame and are met on time, to the required standard.
Ensure all project risks are highlighted and managed.
Ensure coherence of design and process across projects - maximise re-usability, minimise complexity.
Ensure that projects are designed using design for manufacture, assembley, test, installation and servicing methods.
Participate in technical design reviews, providing expert input, with particular emphasis on systems issues and interfaces.
Ensure technical product and process standards of excellence are defined and maintained.
Provide expert input into the development process to ensure that product and technology development proposals are properley evaluated.
Encourage learning and technical skill development, and guide engineers in their design decisions. |
