| One of the countries most well known consulting engineers are seeking experienced and influential Principal Engineers to lead teams within their Building Structures Division at their Birmingham office. With prestigious, large scale developments dominating their portfolio of work, they are particularly geared around residential and commercial projects ranging in value from £1 million - £30 million +. A hands on role, demands will be made of you from the very start with you not only being responsible for the technical performance and output of your team of designers and detailers but also a strong emphasis on client liaison and maintaining the good perception of the company in the clients eyes. The vision is for your role to develop seamlessly into that of an Associate Director where your benefits and responsibilities will increase together. The right candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in a high project value, building structures environment. Of chartered status for at least 5 years you will also have the ability to influence your team by demonstration of your design expertise and interpersonal skills.
