| Job Title: Workshop Foreman
Job Overview: This is a responsible “hands on roll” which requires leadership and organisational skills. The ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines is important. The roll will include the man management on a daily basis of workshop and site operatives.
Responsible to: General Manager / Managing Director
Responsible for: Production quality to ISO 9002. “Day to day” running of workshop. General workshop health & safety & risk assessments (Training given if required)
Duties include: Production Planning. Ensuring production is inline with ISO 9002 system. Operative workloads. Production levels. Answering timesheet queries. Entering customer O/No.’s into computerised job book. Minimum Desired Qualifications: Be able to read a working drawing & solve problems. Good communication & leadership skills. Computer literate and competent with word processing, i.e. MS Word and spreadsheets i.e. MS Excel”. Clean driving license. Forklift Truck licence. Overhead Crane licence. MMA & Mig welding experience. Welding coding to Min of BS EN287 (all positional)
Age: 30+
Minimum Experience: Sound knowledge of welding – MMA & MIG, all positional. Detailed knowledge of quarrying plant, both mobile and fixed, along with the ability to be able to assess jobs. 10 years fabrication & welding with 3+yrs being spend in a management role.
